Description

Fuel Filter Water Separator provide maximum protection of modern petrol and diesel engines. Effectively removing contaminants from fuel, such as water, sand , dirt and rust.
The mounting head and filter body is protected with a durable electostatcally applied powder coating for superior corrosion resistance.
The unique spin on filter design is easy to service and features a reusable clear plastic or metal contaminant collection bowl with a self venting drain play.
Inspect the collection bowl for water daily and service as necessary. When a decrease of power is noticed replace element at least once a year.

How to Drain Water from the Fuel Filter:

  1. Loosen self-venting drain plug to drain water from bowl into a container.
    2. Tighten drain.
    3. Use primer bulb to fill filter with fuel.
    4. Start engine and check ensure there are no leaks.

How to Replace the Fuel Filter Element:

  1. Loosen self-venting drain plug and drain the element into a container.
    2. Remove filter element from mounting bracket with bowl connected.
    3. Remove bowl from filter element and clean o-ring gland on bowl. BOWL IS REUSABLE * DO NOT DISCARD.
    4. Lubricate o-ring with oil or grease and install on bowl.
    5. Install bowl onto new element, tighten by hand.
    6. Lubricate filter top seal with oil or grease.
    7. Fill filter/bowl assemble with clean fuel and attach onto mounting bracket, tighten by hand.
    8. Start engine and check to ensure there are no leaks.

To meet the unique requirements of customers’ engines.

10 micron (98%@10 micron) – Captures more contaminants than 30 micron elements, and is more effective at stopping water. Extends the life of the entire fuel system.

How the Fuel Filter works:

Fuel entering the filter head is diverted downward past the vertical media pleats, allowing larger water droplets and contamination particles to fall directly to the collection bowl. Smaller water droplets converge and coalesce on the specially treated media surface until they are large enough to also drop to the collection bowl. Small contamination particles are stopped at the surface, while even smaller particles are held deeper in its layers. This results in dry, clean motor fuel being delivered to your engine.
